  • Allied health professionals work in different environments and settings. Professions vary from working behind the scenes in an office or lab setting with minimal patient contact or in direct hands-on treatment care settings.
  • Allied health professionals take college-level courses and hold degrees from certificates to doctorates in their profession. They have taken and passed national board exams and are certified and/or licensed to practice in their profession of choice.
  • Allied health professionals are in high demand.
