National Allied Health Professions Week
November 5-9, 2012
Allied Health Professions Week will be celebrated nationally November 4th through 10th, 2012 to honor health care providers working in the more than 200 unique allied health professions. The delivery of high quality health care has become very complex, and it relies on a diverse team of health professionals. As an allied health professional and an alum of our school, you are an essential member of the health care team and we want to thank you for all your hard work and dedication. We celebrate you this week!
LLU SAHP Celebrates Allied Health Professions Week
We invite you to return to Loma Linda University's campus the week of November 4-10, 2012 to join in the celebration. On Monday, the school of Allied Health Professions will kick-start the celebration with a lunch served on the cottage lawn by Nichol Hall for all Allied Health Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni. During the week, we will be offering several tours to show alumni and friends some new things on our campus. Thursday evening we have a new exciting event planned that will highlight student stories and films from the first SAHP interdisciplinary mission trip to Haiti in Summer of 2012, and we'll also show footage of SAHP's new Rehab Certificate Program in Haiti. On Friday, there is a free continuing education conference on campus and we welcome you to attend and stop by our booth to say hello!
The SAHP Student Association also has fun things planned to make this week our School Spirit Week (PDF), including "Mustache Monday," Patriotic Day on Tuesday, Allied Health Day on Wednesday and a Boba Tea event on Thursday during lunch time. Check our Facebook page periodically throughout the week to see photos of our students.
