When to apply

For Respiratory Care: Applications received by March 1 will be given preference in evaluation and admittance as early applications.

The standard application deadline is September 1.

All applications submitted after September 1 will be considered for the next year's class.

For Emergency Medical Care: We begin accepting applications beginning October 1 for the following fall term (September) start date. Acceptances will be offered on a rolling basis for a select number of highly qualified applicants.

Life Support Education: Courses are offered continuously throughout the year. Contact the department for the next available class. Please note: The Life Support Education Courses have a separate registration process. Please contact them directly for procedures and requirements.

Students in the cardiopulmonary science programs follow a prescribed course of study and enter as one class starting in September (fall quarter). The fall quarter usually begins the second or third week in September.
