Requirements for admission for the Clinical Laboratory Science Phlebotomy program  taught at Loma Linda University\'s School of Allied Health Professions, which specializes in allied health degrees in a Christian environment.

Phlebotomy program prerequisites

For course:  AHCJ 105 Procedures in Phlebotomy

  • Completed online application with the following submitted elements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma transcript or GED equivalent. (For GED- official documentation must be sent by the State GED office. All transcripts must be sent directly to LLU)
  • Current proof of immunizations (measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, chicken pox, PPD skin test)
  • Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination
  • Current CPR Certification through the American Heart Association
  • Background check (part of online application procedure)
  • One professional recommendation from someone other than close friends or related family member.  (Teachers, Medical Professional, Mentor, etc;)
