Admissions Information

Holiday Hours:  The Radiation Technology office will be closed Monday, December 26th and Monday, January 2nd.  Have a wondeful Holiday!

Program in Radiation Technology at Loma Linda University are currently in high demand and we do have an influx of student applications. Students are encouraged to submit completed applications as early as possible!

Please choose and apply to only one Allied Health program at a time. Wait for an admissions decision before applying to another program in the School of Allied Health Professions. Admissions applications can be transferred within the same school year between SAHP programs upon written request from the applicant with no additional fee required. Admissions requirements and pre-requisites vary for each program. All pre-requisites must be met for desired programs of application.

Current students applying to further their education in another program must first complete their initial program in order to be eligible to continue on into the second in order to be eligible.  The start date of the second program must be after the first program completion date.

All application fees are nonrefundable.

Schedule an Appointment

You may schedule an appointment to talk with an advisor either in person or on the phone. Contact Linda at (909) 558-4931 to set up an appointment with a program advisor. Please plan to have available your college transcripts (unofficial copies are ok) and a completed check sheet for your program of interest. If your appointment is by phone, it is helpful if you can fax your information beforehand.

When to Apply

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program has an application window of October 1 to February 1. All other programs open the application window on January 1. Each of the programs has a different close date. Classes close as they fill. Class sizes are limited and class closures vary. Check with the department for availability.

Prerequisites/Requirements

You must complete prerequisite course work at any accredited college before being admitted to a program in the School of Allied health Professions. A high school diploma or the GED is required for acceptance. Check our transfer patterns required for entry.
