Program Director
Marie De Lange, BS, RT, RDMS, RDCS, FAIUM, FSDMS
Marie carries the dual roles of program director for medical sonography, as well as department manager for Ultrasound at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Since 1978, Marie has mentored over 30 classes of students to successfully complete one of the most comprehensive and demanding sonography programs in the United States.
Having held multiple appointments with (ARDMS) the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and its Educational Scholarship Foundation, she is a past chair of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and past board member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine Board of Governors, which is the accrediting body for sonography programs.
She was given Fellow Distinction in both AIUM and SDMS of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and Distinguished Educator Award by SDMS in 2004. Marie is personally and professionally dedicated to excellence in ultrasound education and in the profession.

Accreditation
The Loma Linda University Diagnostic Medical Sonography program has been fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Medical Sonography (JRCDMS) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in general sonography and vascular and echocardiography since 1983.
