The Counseling and Family Sciences Clinic

- Meeting Your Counseling/Therapy Needs

Individual Counseling/Therapy

As an individual client, you can expect therapists to work with you one-on-one to examine problem areas and assist you in working through those issues. We'll help you develop skills for building healthy, satisfying, and long-lasting relationships with others. In addition, your therapist is reachable after hours. Help is only a phone call away.

Couples Therapy

Your needs as a couple and as distinct individuals within the relationship, are best met through a plan designed specifically for you. We'll work with each of you respectfully and patiently. Why wait until conflicts have torn your relationship apart? Discover the tools you need to help you build a satisfying, trusting relationship.

Family Therapy

Members of a family develop individual roles to achieve a comfortable balance. Some of the roles taken on by family members are destructive to their self esteem, as well as the being unhealthy for the family as a whole. We'll help you redefine your family's roles in such a way that each family member will feel important, loved, and supported. Therapy often involves working with each family member individually to resolve personal problems and difficulties. The family is then brought together again to put new skills into practice.

Whatever you family's needs, we'll help you work through the problems and find positive solutions.

Group Psychotherapy

We organize a variety of support groups for our clients at the Clinic. Group therapy provides you with a caring and supportive place to share frustrations and difficulties in your life with others who truly know what you are talking about. As you near the end of your one-to-one counseling, a supportive group can take the place of the individual attention of a therapist and help you to further apply the solutions you've discovered.
