University & Community Service
Dr. Vermeersch is the Director of Clinical Training for the Clinical Psychology PhD program. In addition to his research, teaching, and clinical supervision responsibilities, he is responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical training, including practicum and predoctoral internship placements. Dr. Vermeersch also serves as Chair of the Faculty Search Committee, Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee, and is a member of the Student Affairs Committee in the Department of Psychology. He also serves as a member of the Administrative Council in the School of Behavioral Health and as a member of the Loma Linda University Behavioral Health Institute Executive Committee. He is a licensed psychologist and maintains a small clinical practice in the Behavioral Health Institute.
