Community-Academic Partners in Service

Campus Ministries

Campus Ministries offers service opportunities to touch hearts and change lives for eternity, through the cross, by the Spirit, and in the world. Make sure to check out the Master Calendar to learn about upcoming service events. Also keep an ear out for opportunities to join our Aftershock Program or Christian Learning class.

Aftershock is designed to involve students with opportunities to serve our community both locally and worldwide. Last summer, we went on a mission trip to Brazil to deliver wheelchairs. It involved fitting the wheelchairs to the patients, providing community service in the local area, and participating in religious programs.

RELR 404 Christian Service class: This one- to two-unit class is centered on involvement in community service. Twenty hours of directed community service is required for each unit taken. Other course requirements are journaling on service experiences and interacting with the textbook.
