Operation Jessica is a transformational, spiritual experience for at-risk youth. The program is named in memory of Jessica Salazar, a gifted, yet troubled young teen who had hoped to work with wounded teens. She was killed in a gang war at age fourteen.
The Operation Jessica program places teens in the setting of nature and supports them in healing from the wounds of their pasts and in experiencing God's restoring power as greater than their own. Also within Operation Jessica, a passion is kindled in the hearts of Loma Linda University students for troubled teens as they learn how to mentor these youths.
