Loma Linda University Schools & Service Learning Requirements
As a University, we are committed to integrating service as a lifelong practice into our curriculum.  Many of our schools offer service-learning classes where students have the opportunity to meet learning objectives by working with local community partners to provide meaningful services.  Some of our schools have incorporated volunteer service hours or service-learning classes into their programs.  Click here to learn more about requirements and their unique contributions to the local community.

LLU Service Organizations
CAPS also connects LLU students and the local community to beneficial resources like network and referral strategies; we provide customized services upon request.  Click here to  learn more about who’s who, student clubs, and service event planning.

Community-engaged Scholarship
Lastly, we assist students and faculty in developing community-engaged scholarship and staying up to date on service related grant opportunities and conferences.  Check out our partner Community-Campus Partners in Health’s website to learn about: funding opportunities, conferences and presentations, internships and job opportunities, and other service-learning resources.

Connecting your passion and academics into action, in partnership with our local community.
