Kids ROCK: Reaching Out in Christ to Kids

       
This program serves kids ages 5 - 15 with outdoor activities, arts and crafts, Bible stories and snacks. You are welcome to drop by, or even sign up with a group (friends, classmates, or church group) to lead out for a weekend. No experience necessary, just an open heart!

Volunteer FAQs

What is KidsROCK?
Kids ROCK (Reaching Out in Christ to Kids) is a community-based ministry for the SACHS Norton surrounding community. It is run by volunteer church groups, LLU students, and other youth from the community.

Who does Kids ROCK serve?
All youth ages 5-13 years old. Activities include Bible stories, music, arts/crafts, outdoor sports, and games. Kids come to socialize and fellowship with their peers and volunteers.

How often do we meet?
Kids ROCK is every Saturday afternoon  from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM

Who can volunteer?
Any church, youth group, or student who is willing to devote their time and playing skills!

How can I volunteer?
If your group is interested in committing to one Saturday a month to either engage in worship, do arts/craft activities, or a sports activity, you can contact the Kids ROCK coordinator at rduffisgordon@llu.edu or (909) 651-5011.

Students are also more than welcome to stop by any Saturday. Student volunteers are expected to engage with the children and support the group volunteers in their planned activities and games.

Where exactly is Kids ROCK held?
Kids ROCK is held at La Escuelita @ SACHS Norton Clinic: 1455 Third St., San Bernardino, CA. (The white trailer directly across SACHS Norton Clinic parking lot).
