Introduction to Critical Thinking for LLU
Critical thinking is promoted throughout all programs across Loma Linda University. The definition that AAC&U used for the critical thinking rubric is: "Critical thinking is a habit of mind characterized by the comprehensive exploration of issues, ideas, artifacts and events before accepting or formulating an opinion or conclusion."

Of course, this basic definition can be expanded in the critical thinking rubric as programs contextualize it to meet their unique needs.
