Kids Rock

KIDS ROCK Reaching out N Christ 2 kids
Come help kids experience God in a whole new way Saturday afternoons through art, song, and games at the SACHS Norton Clinic.

Family Community Parents Connection Empower parents from the SACHS Norton community by instructing classes in computer literacy, ESL, health, nutrition, art and much more.

Community Kids Connection (CKC) Tutor grade-school aged kids. Meets once a week, either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 4:30-6 p.m.

Project Special Opps Be a mentor for at-risk 9th grade boys in San Bernardino schools. Friday 1:20-2:30 or 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Project Hope Provides one-on-one mentoring to pregnant girls and their boyfriends in San Bernardino schools. Fridays from 1:20-2:30.

Students Teaching AIDS to Students (STATS) Teach local high school students about AIDS and safe sex practices. Time commitment and training are minimal!
Healthy Neighborhoods Celebration: Annual community-based health fair led by LLU students at the SACHS Norton Clinic.

CKC Music Be a strings coach or a support staff. Teach kids how to play strings at SACHS.

CAPS Annual Adopt-A-Kid Christmas Party: Come celebrate the Christmas holidays as you are paired up with local children playing games, face painting, and meeting Santa! SACHS Student Community Clinic (SSCC) Thursday Evenings A student led health clinic at SACHS Norton facility, focusing on the uninsured population of San Bernardino County.

LLUSA Community Service Join LLU student leaders in numerous volunteer projects throughout the year, September-June.

Operation Jessica A class offered through LLU Nursing that is a transformational, spiritual experience for at-risk youth.
Campus Ministries offers service opportunities to touch hearts and change lives for eternity, through the cross, by the Spirit, and in the world.

Students for Social Change SSC is a group of students committed to bringing awareness to our campus and community of the human rights abuses occurring worldwide.


Students for International Missions Service (SIMS) Service-learning opportunities in international underdeveloped areas, where access to health care and health education is limited or non-existent. Si Se Puede A summer program sponsored by LLU introducing Hispanic/Latino High School students to careers in the health sciences. LLU volunteers needed to support throughout the week.

College Exodus to the Health Professions:
A summer internship program introducing African Americans to Health Professions.

LLUMC & LLU Children's Hospital Child Life, Operation Care Package, Music Connection, Mended Hearts, Pet Enrichment Therapy, and the Baking program are but a few of the wonderful programs available. Norton Neighborhoods Norton Neighborhoods Daily volunteer and service learning opportunities to fit your schedule and interests. Tutoring, nature study, camping, hiking, crafts, music, art, computer skills, etc.
SAC Health System offers various clinical and health education opportunities in partnership with LLU.
 East Campus Volunteer Opportunities offers volunteer opportunities ideal for students who need to study and want to give back to the community at the same time.
