September 10 - Dietitians Training School begins operation.
November 14 - AMA Council on Medical Education votes A rating for CME.

February 7 - The Board considers an outdoor amphitheater, later named Loma Linda Bowl.
August 24 - First unit of second hospital is completed.
1928
April 22 - Groundbreaking is held for the main section of the new building, now known as Nichol Hall.
May 17 - Board changes the name of the Dietitians Training School to the School of Dietetics.
1929
March 20 - Second hospital is opened for patients.
April 7 - New hospital on hill dedicated after second unit completed.
