Also on Level One is the Amphitheater Center Lobby and Exhibition Hall, an area for the display of student research, educational, and outreach projects.
Level Two is the site of five "smart" classrooms that utilize the latest audiovisual and computer technology for effective, efficient teaching and learning. Near the classrooms, areas for group study offer a place where students can engage in discussion and information exchange following classroom presentations.
In addition to the anatomy faculty offices, Level Two also houses the Educational Technology Center with the equipment and staff that will facilitate global communication and the myriad of communication networks within the Complex itself.
In the northern wing of Level Two, the Amphitheater Center provides two large teaching amphitheaters, one with 250 seats and the other with 350. Just as in the "smart" classrooms, these are equipped with superior presentation facilities and wireless computer resources for both students and faculty.
The School of Public Health is represented here by the Geographic Information System laboratory (GIS) - housing one of health care's latest and most comprehensive technologies employing a blend of satellites, computers, and highly specialized computer software. Life support training, a function of the School of Allied Health, is also located on the third level.
Two spacious teaching amphitheaters, each with 100 seats and conference-style desks, is a central feature of Level Three. These rooms will be shared by all nine of the University's professional schools.
