The Centennial Complex now stands proudly as a monument on our campus, honoring all those who made it a reality. With the inspiring design from Cannon, and the masterful construction by McCarthy, this building has fulfilled our dreams, enabling our Divine mission to the world. With 151,000 square feel of classrooms, laboratories, and offices, this building is our first new academic building in over 30 years. It's state-of-the-art technology makes learning more effective for our own students, as well as connecting us with others throughout the world.
The Swatek Anatomy Center is one of the largest, most modern anatomy labs in the country. The Clinical Skills Education Center will enable students to learn history taking, physical diagnosis, and counseling with immediate feedback and support. The Global Gateway, embedded in this building, allows us to transmit lectures and information to every corner of the world.
Our School of Religion finally has a home of its own. We will have one of the country's largest simulation centers, providing computerized mannequins who can mimic any emergency or complex medical situation. And, the Chen Fong Conference Center will host major functions for the campus.
The Wong Pavilion, on the east, and the Schumacher Pavilion, on the west, are a tribute to two families who believed in Loma Linda and it's expanding role in the world. The Jetton Pavilion, with it's Damazo and Small Amphitheaters, will provide students and the community with modern facilities that connect them to the world. The many labs, classrooms, offices, libraries, lobbies, and support areas have been provided by many individuals who have chosen to trust Loma Linda University with both their means and names.
When finally complete, with the Centennial Pathway, Mission Globe, and "Who Touched Me?" sculpture, this part of the campus will accentuate all we are and do.
Partucular mention needs to be made of the many foundations and organizations that also became part of this dream. Within this community, Annenberg, CalPortland Cement, Hearst, Fletcher Jones, Kresge, J.M. Long, Stauffer, Weingart, and many others believed in this project and chose to invest in the future of Loma Linda University. You have honored us with your commitment and trust.
None of this would have been possible without God's blessing. Each of you, thank you a thousand times over for your support! You are the ones who believe in us, recommend us to others, send us your children and grandchildren, and pray for us regularly as we face the challenges of today. Our daily commitment to you and to our God is to deserve your trust and continue to build on the incredible reputation that has blessed Loma Linda University through the years.

Nothing of this magnitude happens without the remarkabe effort and commitment of many. The philanthropy staff, inspired and led my Lyn Behrens at the beginning, initially included Lynn Martell, Carolyn Cales Saliba and Albin Grohar. They guided the campaign, developed materials, contacted hundreds of alumni and friends, met for countless hours with the volunteer leadership, and accomplished what many thought was impossible.
The campaign followed a new model for Loma Linda University, with heavy dependence on a core of volunteers. The Co-chairs, Carlton and Raye McAnally Lofgren and Carleton and Patti Shryock Wallace, along with their entire team, provided incredible inspiration and commitment.
David Colwell and David Kinsey gave outstanding support services. Planned Giving, led by Ron Watson, was key in facilitating several large gifts.
Over the last several years the campaign was led by Jackie Gilstrap and included Mel Sauder, Albin Grohar, Treva Webster, Maynard Lowry, and Jo Anna Codington. They and many other deserve great appreciation.
