Jael Amador joined our staff as a student worker which then changed to her becoming a fulltime member of our team in 2012. As coordinator of student events and outreach, Jael has become a bridge connecting our students with opportunities to lead out and participate in ministry as well as get connected to other students who share the same passions or interest. She assists in coordinating and developing the weekly worship services.
Jael is a gifted singer, songwriter and story teller who ably captures the experiences people face as they pursue their faith. When she isn't being a bridge builder Jael is also working on a PhD in Psychology here at Loma Linda. She also speaks passionately regarding the needs of those who do not have the opportunity to speak up for themselves and believes that the church is a vehicle for justice and change. Her contagious smile and sense of humor makes Jael a great asset to our team.
My Thoughts:
My prayer is that in the midst of every deadline, responsibility and/or assignment, each member of this campus may come in contact with a loving God. I pray that each one of us students can look beyond grades, tests and diagrams to see a world that needs our skills, our time, our service and our love.
