The Diversity Faculty Forum is dedicated to the recruitment, development and advancement of underrepresented minority faculty at LLU. We believe that the demographics in our faculty, administrators, and staff should be reflective of the diversity that exists in our student population, and work diligently to achieve such diversity. The Forum encourages research and teaching that is responsive to society’s most pressing needs, and also provides an opportunity for dialogue and networking with colleagues interested in professional growth and productivity.
The Forum meets regularly and is comprised of diverse faculty and staff members from all eight schools. The Forum is open to all faculty members interested in promoting a campus environment that is inclusive and supportive of diversity at all levels. Diverse faculty members also actively participate in outreach, recruitment, and counseling efforts designed to attract and retain underrepresented minority students. For more information or to learn how to get involved, please contact Dr. Rafael Canizales or the Office of Talent Management and Diversity.
