*Both parents are welcome to participate in this unique bonding opportunity.

Kids' Learn-to-Swim Program

The American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program is designed to meet the age and skill level of your child (aged 4 - 17 years).  This program is divided into Levels 1 through 6; your child will be tested and placed in the level that is most appropriate level for his/her ability.  Each class is 30 minutes long and participants may choose from the weekday program or the Sunday swim program.

*Please Note: Level 5 classes are taught during evening session times only.

 Adult Swim Lessons

It is never too late to learn to swim!!  Our patient instructors will be more than happy to assist you in meeting your individual swimming needs.  Whether your goal is to become comfortable in and around the water or to become a fluid swimmer, we are here to make this an enjoyable and rewarding experience.  Each class is 45 minutes long and is part of our weekday swim program.  Choose the class days and times that best meet your schedule.

 Junior Lifeguard Program

The goal of this program is to provide a transition between the Learn-to-Swim program and the Lifeguard Training program.  Participants with a strong swimming background who are not old enough to participate in a lifeguard training class can get a jump-start and learn the skills necessary to assist someone in an emergency while gaining valuable leadership and communication skills.  Participants will have the opportunity to gain community service hours by volunteering at the pool in our lesson program and as deck observers shadowing a certified lifeguard.

This program has been divided into age-appropriate activities based on learning objectives and lifeguard readiness skills for each group.  Upon successful completion of this program, participants will gain knowledge in First Aid/CPR, Water Safety Instructor Aide, basic water rescue, and develop the skills necessary to assist someone in an emergency.

Program fee includes class materials, swimming passes for each participant, and a program t-shirt.  For youth aged 10 - 14 years.

Lifeguard Training Program
