Research Interests

Dr. Hussein is very active in research, publishing, and grant writing. He developed the first multimedia interactive computer program for teaching clinical pharmacokinetics and individualizing drug dosage regimens. This was the precursor to MedStorm software currently owned by AmerisourceBergen. He implemented therapeutic drug monitoring consultation services at several Louisiana hospitals. He is a reviewer, judge, and task force member for a number of professional organizations and projects.
