How do I apply for a position?

To apply, first click on the job title, then you will find a link at the bottom of the page to apply for the position or click here to begin searching for jobs.

I don’t have a computer. Where can I apply?

You may apply on any computer with Internet access: a friend’s house, public library, EDD office, the Human Resources Department located at: LLUAHSC 101 Building, 101 E. Redlands Blvd, San Bernardino, CA 92408.

I clicked to apply online and nothing is happening?

Your computer is blocking pop-ups, and our application is on a secure site you access through a pop-up. You may “allow pop-ups” or “temporarily allow pop-ups” on your computer’s firewall settings to access the application.

Can I apply for something that is not posted?

No, a position has to be posted in order to complete an application. The website is updated daily so check back frequently for updated job listings.

Is this site secure?

Yes. When entering and exiting secure sites you are prompted to continue with a pop-up window. You will notice a small yellow lock icon on the bottom right of the screen; this means that the screen you are on is secure.

Is my Social Security Number secure if I enter it in the application?

Yes. The Social Security Number is not on the application itself. There is an attached form that you are asked to fill out after you have submitted an application. The purpose of this form is to get more important information about you. We run Background Checks on every new employee at Loma Linda, and we need your Social Security Number to accomplish that process.

I have applied but it indicates my username or password is not found?

Your Username and Password must be entered exactly as you registered. If an error message occurs it is likely that the Login Username and Password are inconsistent with what was saved. Remember they are both case sensitive.

How often is your website updated?

Our job listing site is updated in real-time. All positions shown on our job postings page are still accepting applications. We update our website frequently, so changes may occur throughout the course of the day.

Are the positions on the website really available?

Yes. All positions on the website are available right now, regardless of the date they were posted. Positions are removed immediately if they are no longer available.

Does Loma Linda have a defined length of time
that positions are open on the website?

They are posted for at least 5 days, or an offer made after the 5 days.

How can I be notified when new positions become available?

You will need to create a User Name and Password (by starting to fill out an application). Then go to “Job Agent” to select jobs you would be interested in applying to. You will receive an email when positions become available.

How do I find jobs posted for a specific facility?

You may select the facility in the “Select a Facility” box, or you may type the town or facility into the “Keyword” box at the bottom of the job search page (i.e.: Highland Springs Medical Plaza in Beaumont, HSH (for Heart and Surgical Hospital), Corona, Victorville, etc.)

What are the hours of the position? How do I find out?

If specific hours are not listed, most AM/PM shifts are during the day, with the exact hours to be determined by the department. If a shift is NOC, it is a night shift position, and the exact hours will be determined by the department. You may ask the interviewer about the specific hours for the position.

Do you sponsor foreign nurses?

Unfortunately, at present, due to immigration limitations/restrictions, we do not sponsor foreign nurses.

Do you have entry level positions that require no experience?

Most entry level positions are listed under the category “Services/Trade”, and those requiring no experience are Patient Transporter, Housekeeping Ambassador 1, and Food Service Worker A. All Food Service Worker positions require a food handler’s permit.

Do you offer training for positions if I do not have the experience?

Some positions may offer training. It will be specified in the job description.

Does Loma Linda offer CPR/BLS training?

Yes, Loma Linda offers CPR/BLS training at our Life Support Education Department. There is a small fee charged for the training. Please call to schedule an appointment; (909) 558-4977.
