|This interactive hands-on workshop will introduce clinicians to Caries Management by Risk Assessment (CAMBRA), a process of care to determine strategies to prevent and manage caries infection. A review of assessment for 0-5 and 6-adult will be presented along with specific agents to prevent and treat dental caries disease. Assessment of current protocols and therapies will provide attendees with the tools necessary to implement the best in minimally invasive approaches to care.
After attending this course, the dental professional should be able to:
· Analyze the principles and science of caries management by risk assessment (CAMBRA).
· Perform a caries risk assessment on all patients based on the latest assessment tools
· Interpret caries susceptibility tests to determine patient care plans.
· Identify dental products available for patient interventions using CAMBRA principles.
