- Research on efficacy of agents for dental unit waterlines (DUWLs) disinfection and dental tubing biofilm control using a standard DUWL biocide test apparatus, including planktonic cell counts of effluent, dental tubing biofilm total viable counts, biofilm morphology, and endotoxin.
- Participation in standardization of procedures for prevention, inactivation and removal of biofilm in DUWLs.
- Providing biological monitoring of sterilizers in dental offices, community colleges, special programs and governmental institutions around the nation since 1998.
- Providing analytical and instrumental support to research experiments.
