Giving Opportunities - Endowments 

	The Ronald E. Buell Endodontic Endowment was officially established in 1990.  Dr. Buell, who died on Jne 1, 1995 provided a significant gift to begin the process toward a professorship.  Out of respect for their colleague, faculty and staff joined with him in setting up the fund.
	Dr. Philip J. Boyne was internationally known for his research and contributions to dentistry.  A life-long resident of Zurich, Switzerland, and a friend, Dr. Peter Geistlich, shared with Dr. Boyne a common goal -- to improve the quality of care in the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery and tissue regeneration.  Together they created the Goyne-Geistlich Professorship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
