Consistency of instruction in the art and science of dentistry is an important part of the educational process. Therefore, it is necessary that LLUSD select faculty who are willing to follow the procedures established by the Department if Restorative Dentistry and be able to demonstrate these procedures to students. This exercise is to provide some insight into how well our philosophies and procedures coincide with potential faculty.
We realize that practitioners may not be familiar with preparing typodonts teeth in a manikin. Therefore, opportunity to practice is provided to become comfortable preparing these plastic teeth.
