Service Learning Program

Service Learning is the soul of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. The school motto, “Service is our Calling” says it well. Service to others is incorporated into the curriculum with the Doctor of Dental Surgery students expected to complete a minimum of 120 hours prior to graduation and the Dental Hygiene students 75 hours.

Extensive local community opportunities are available to students as well as more than 20 international mission trips per academic year. LLUSD strives to fulfill Christ’s mission through His statement in the gospel of John, “...love each other as I have loved you.”
