• Cameroon Mission Trip

In June 2005, four LLUSD students along with two faculty went to Cameroon to assist in dental service to the under served of that country, specifically in Yaounde. They were able to perform close to 300 dental procedures.

• Peru Mission Trip

In June 2007, a team of six LLUSD students, one cameraman, two faculty, and a volunteer went to Cascas, Peru where they gave dental service for two weeks to 370 patients performing 789 procedures.

• Bangladesh Mission Trip

In September 2007, several medical entities on the LLU campus, (i.e. School of Nursing, School of Medicine, School of Public Health, and School of Dentistry) came together in a collaborative effort for this mission trip. During the fall break, which was one week long, students accompanied by faculty members from each discipline flew to Dhaka, Bangladesh where they worked 4.5 days serving 650 patients and performed 1100 procedures.
