About the Drayson Center

A wellness center dedicated to the spirit of wholeness

The Drayson Center opened on January 11, 1995 as a $16.2 million health and wellness center emphasizing and promoting physical, emotional and spiritual wholeness. Today, the Drayson Center is a 100,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that serves as a central location for health and wellness in the Loma Linda community. Loma Linda University Health students, full-time employees and their families receive a free Drayson Center membership to enjoy health, fitness and social activities that promote physical, emotional and spiritual wholeness. Paid memberships are also available for anyone excited to start a new wellness experience at the Drayson Center.

Our beginnings

Loma Linda University’s Drayson Center is named in honor of Ronald and Grace Drayson, who donated the Alto Camino mobile home park to the University. With an estimated value of $8 million, this gift provided the cornerstone for the construction of the recreation and wellness complex. The health and wellness center represents their dedication and commitment to service through the years.

I’ve been going here for 10 years now. (It is a) huge facility with great equipment, large flat screen TVs throughout the exercise rooms, and almost every amenity available. There's a good mixed crowd and is very rarely empty.
