Children's ballet and the Spartan Training Course are just a few of the recreation classes we offer throughout the year. With classes designed for adults and children, you and your family are sure to find a fun fitness option that's right for you. We work to provide our members and guests with activities that inspire new interests and hobbies that encourage fitness and an active lifestyle. These are additional classes that you and your family can pay to join. Prices are different for each class and new sessions begin every quarter! The core curriculum covers vocabulary, correct placement of the body, feet, head and arms, study of the five basic positions and all elementary movements.
Girls: Solid color leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers.
Boys: Solid t-shirt, shorts and black ballet shoes.
No house slippers or tutus please.
We focus on creating a safe, fun and educational environment for children to experiment with movement and self-expression. This class teaches introductory skills in improvisation, rhythm and body awareness.
Our instructors teache the basic techniques beginning with stances, blocks and turns, discipline and responsibility for one’s own actions are highly stressed. This class accommodates both beginning and advanced students.
This is a low-intensity exercise suitable for all ages. T'ai Chi Ch'uan is proven to improve balance, lower blood pressure and increase aerobic capacity in seniors. This experience also helps to reduce stress and the class is taught in the symmetrical Yang style T’ai Chi Ch’uan form.
This class explores song, movement and acting. Students will work on dance numbers and scenes from well-known Broadway musicals and gain valuable performance experience from a showcase at the end of the program. Course registration includes a photo CD of the final recital.
Attendance of this class is required in order to graduate into the CRF Cross Training class. Advanced level clients may grandfather into CRF Cross Training at the discretion of our personal trainers.
Take your body to another level with the CRF PowerLifting class. PowerLifting is a form of competitive weightlifting in which contestants attempt three types of lifts in a set sequence at maximal weight: squats, bench press and deadlifts. You will learn proper form to perform all three of the required lifts, as well as build the strength needed to perform these lifts to your maximum weigh while maintaining perfect form.
The Spartan Training Course is a high intensity obstacle course training program designed to prepare you for all the mud, walls, fire and barbed wire you can handle. If obstacle course racing is not your plan that's okay. You will benefit regardless by becoming your fittest you! Our motto is "You Against You!"
Split into three separate days, our Spartan trainers will help you to increase your endurance, build core strength and agility on body weight/plyometric day, and build up strength on functional movement day.

CRF is not an affiliate of Spartan Obstacle Races. We encourage participation in all mud and obstacle course races, including but not limited to Tough Mudder, Camp Pendleton Mud Run, etc.
