Common Questions on LLU's Apprenticeship Bridge to College Program
What will I be doing in the summer research intership program?
You will be participating fulltime in biomedical, public health, or behavioral health research, workshops, seminars, analytic discussions, and other activities. The majority of the time will be dedicated to biomedical research in the areas mentioned above.
When does the program start?
Orientation day is scheduled for Monday, June 16 at 9 a.m.
When does the program end?
The program ends on August 8, 2014. On Wednesday, August 6, we will have the 14th Annual Summer Health Disparities Research Symposium. All students are required to present a scientific poster.
Where will our first meeting be?
Mortensen Hall, Seminar Room

Will I be paid?
Yes. Your participation in the program is compensated. You will be getting biweekly paychecks from the Center for Health Disparities and Molecular Medicine.
What if I can't commit for the whole 8 weeks?
We would like for now to kindly let us know and withdraw your application. We want all prospective students to be fully committed to their involvement in the summer health disparities research program.
