The School of Dentistry welcomes financial support to maintain and strengthen our programs and facilities. Alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations are important partners in our mission to provide the finest in oral health-care education to men and women from the United States and many countries around the world.
Through their gifts, donors share in the pride of academic excellence and in the accomplishments of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and researchers. Gifts to the School of Dentistry are tax-deductible as allowed by law and support a variety of programs, projects, and endowments. They may be given in the form of cash, securities, real, or personal property. Gifts by credit card are welcomed.
Deferred gifts include bequests or life-income trusts. Specialists in creating personalized trusts, annuities, and a variety of charitable giving plans are available and will be happy to sit down and discuss the many attractive options available. These services, utilizing computer technology and the latest IRS information, are free to the donor.

Opportunities exist for perpetuating your name and/or the name(s) of others you wish to honor or memorialize through gift support. Naming gift options are available for gifts ranging from $10,000 to over $1 million.
A special Lifetime Donor Wall in the main lobby honors those who have cumulatively contributed $25,000 or more.
Because annual support is crucial to maintaining the quality of our programs, the School of Dentistry has established the Dean's Circle, a recognition organization honoring individuals who provide gifts of $1,500 or more in any fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). Members are listed on a special wall of honor in the School, and receive invitations to special activities and personal communications from the dean's office throughout the year.
As always, we encourage donors to discuss potential tax advantages and other aspects of charitable giving with an attorney, tax advisor, or financial consultant. However, if you choose to support the School of Dentistry, you can be assured that your philanthropy will help to secure a bright future for our dental and dental hygiene students!
