  • Review of manual sharpening technique
  • Manual sharpening with the use of a guide (Gleason Guide)
  • Common sharpening pitfalls and how to avoid them
  • Different types of sharpening stones available and lubricants for these (water vs. oil)
  • Non-traditional methods of sharpening
