Lecture Topics 

Crown lengthening: Indications, Surgical Techniques and Periodontal / Restorative relationship
This seminar will focus on the clinical indications for crown lengthening. Periodontal and restorative relationship will be explored. Anatomical and histological features involved such as attached gingival and biologic width concept will be covered, as well as surgical techniques including flap design, ostoeotomy and suturing procedures.

Systemic Disease and Periodontal Disease: is there a link?
This cutting edge seminar will provide an overview on the possible link between periodontal and systemic diseases. The relationship between cardiovascular and upper respiratory disease, diabetes, dermatological diseases, obesity, and effect on pregnancy will be covered based on the latest clinical and basic sciences studies.

Effective Antimicrobial Agents for Treatment of Periodontal Disease
Effective use of local antibiotics, local antimicrobials, over-the-counter products, mechanical and ultrasonic instrumentation will be explained in light of clinical studies and clinical experience. Updated information on dental biofilm will be presented, and the mechanism of action of the different agents discussed.

Esthetic Dentistry: From Material Science to Clinical Practice
Esthetic periodontal and restorative procedures will be presented based on clinical cases and material science. In this seminar, the relationship between esthetic dentistry and periodontal procedures will be presented, from esthetic periodontal procedures such as root coverage to restorative techniques such as metal-free restorations, going through surgical and non-surgical procedures, from minimally invasive dentistry to extensive periodontal surgery and restorative treatment. Clinical cases will be presented for the practitioner involved in esthetic dentistry to restore beautiful smiles.
