| SYNOPSIS |
|
Use of dental lasers is becoming popular among clinicians and dental patients. This symposium is intended to educate the participants on different aspects of clinical dentistry that would benefit from using the lasers. Experts from different parts of the world will be presenting both the science and the clinical applications of dental lasers in endodontics, implantology, operative dentistry, prosthodontics and periodontology. Understanding the biological and physical principles of the laser and the direct clinical applications will make the participants more knowledgeable on laser in dentistry. The speakers will discuss the diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical use of different lasers based on scientific information and clinical experience. |
| OBJECTIVES: |
The participants will ultimately understand and learn the biological processes, the indications, and the treatment modalities of different lasers used in dentistry.
