The plaque presented to him by Douglass Roberts, SD'66, MS'77, chair of the department, read: "Loma Linda University School of Dentistry wishes to recognize Robert Riegel, DDS, MS, Chief, section of removable prosthodontics, department of Restorative Dentistry, and wishes to honor him for 10 years of exemplary caring Christian service to students, patients, faculty and staff."

* Guillermo Bernal, DDS, MSD, associate professor of restorative dentistry, received news on February 29, that he passed his Boards and that he is now Board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics. He worked very hard to achieve this: ususally, it takes up to four years to prepare for the exam and he did it in 13 months, and passed the exam on his first try. He received support and cooperation from both the restorative and biomaterials research departments and especially his wife, Dr. Claudia Prieto. We congratulate him on this great achievement.
