Gregory J. Keszler 19452001
Gregory J. Keszler, SD'70, died February 8 of lung cancer at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Dr. Keszler was born October 7, 1945, in Lodi and lived there until moving to Carmel during treatment for lung cancer. He graduated from Lodi Academy and Pacific Union College before attending the School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry for 30 years in Lodi, and was a member of the American and California Dental Associations. He was also a member of the San Joaquin Dental Society, a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a member of the Twin Arbors Athletic Club. He was a lifelong member of Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church. Dr. Keszler enjoyed working out at the gym, hiking, and exploring Carmel and Point Lobos. He was devoted to his profession and his patients, and enjoyed spending time with Joan, his wife of 33 years, two sons: Mark Keszler of Sunnyvale and Dr. Robert Keszler of Loma Linda; his parents, John and Irene Keszler of Lodi; a brother, Bruce Keszler of Lodi; a sister, Sharon Blaufus of Lodi; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
