Educational computing in dentistry competition call for entries
The Dental Informatics Section, American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is proud to sponsor the second Educational Computing in Dentistry competition. This project is intended to promote the development of high quality instructional software for dental health education through a competitive peer review process. There are three award categories: 1) World Wide Web Programs; 2) CD-ROM/DVD Programs; and 3) Support Programs. Each category carries three cash awards: first place $1,000; second place $500; and third place $250. All entries will be reviewed in four areas of quality—pedagogy, subject matter, technical, and evaluation.
The three finalists will present their award winning projects during the
Technology Fair on March 5, 2002. The awards will be announced and presented
during the Annual Session. The Dental Informatics Section website will
present highlights from each of the award winning programs. All submissions
must be made using the on-line submission form by the close of business
December 15, 2001. This form and other competition details can be found
