flooded with applications

IDP received 333 applications from around the world for the 2003 school year.

The International Dentist Program office has seen a 33 percent increase in applicants over previous years. This year, 333 applications have been received for the 21-month program. Applications have been received from every continent except Antarctica for the 2003 school year. Members of two classes of eight students each will be chosen from the applicant pool—the first will begin the program in March, 2003, and the second class will start the program in September, 2003.

Many of the applicants have already visited LLU to meet faculty and tour the dental school. Each applicant has a DDS degree and many have master’s degrees in dental specialties. Some have earned PhD degrees. On January 12 and 13, applicants have been invited to the School for an interview, and to take the manual dexterity test.
