Building program labor pains officially over! Big, welcome changes are happening around Prince Hall. With the opening of the two new clinic spaces in early February, the Hutto-Patterson pediatric dental clinic and the Bernard Byrd oral and maxillofacial surgery center, and the expansion of clinic and student laboratory space, many denizens of Prince Hall will be moving around. The pediatric dentistry clinic moves on Sunday, February 6, in order to begin seeing patients on February 7. Their vacated clinic suite will accommodate the advanced prosthodontics clinic, for which it was originally designed. It will be very convenient to be just around the corner from implant dentistry suites, says Michelle Rice, prosthodontics/implant supervisor.
That move will free up the current oral surgery lobby and office for an expansion of clinic administration office space. Dr. Paul Richardson, Debbie Tuttle, and Marie Worcester, now located in Room 1149, will be ensconced close to all the activities of clinic administration. So what about 1149? Continuing education and dental alumni staff will move to the outer rooms. It all begins the first week of February. Let's get a-moverin.'
