Department news

ADA news
James Dunn, SD'69, associate professor of restorative dentistry, was featured in the ADA News, November 15, 1999.
Administration

The School of Dentistry was featured in the Bulletin of Dental Education, December 1999, on page one. BDE is the monthly newsletter of the American Association of Dental Schools. Each month, BDE profiles a member institution. When a planned story on another dental school fell through, the editors called and requested an article and photos. Within a week, the article and jpeg images as approved by LLUSD's administrative council, were e-mailed to AADS. The focus of the article was on the service learning and extramural clerkships that make our School distinctive.

   Amber Radivojevic
* Welcome to Amber Radivojevic, new accountant in the Financial Administration office since early December. Ms. Radivojevic is married to a physical therapist, and they've been here about 15 months, after having moved from Chicago, where she was a tax analyst. She was a staff accountant at a CPA firm in Colton before being hired here. She's passed the CPA certification exam and is waiting for the official papers to come through.
