Department news
The School of Dentistry was featured in the Bulletin of Dental Education, December 1999, on page one. BDE is the monthly newsletter of the American Association of Dental Schools. Each month, BDE profiles a member institution. When a planned story on another dental school fell through, the editors called and requested an article and photos. Within a week, the article and jpeg images as approved by LLUSD's administrative council, were e-mailed to AADS. The focus of the article was on the service learning and extramural clerkships that make our School distinctive.
