Dentalgram February 2002 Dr. Kiger attends ADEA Leadership Conference Robert D. Kiger, SD’70, MS’85, professor and chair, periodontics, attended an American Dental Education Association Leadership Institute conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from January 23-26, 2002. This leadership conference is one of a series of four conferences held throughout the year. Dr. Kiger was accepted as a Leadership Institute fellow in March, 2001. This is the third year of the Leadership Institute program. The Institute is sponsored by the ADEA and consists of a series of meetings held over a period of one year designed to improve leadership and management skills for full-time dental faculty members. Fourteen individuals from dental schools throughout the United States are participating in this year’s program.
