Dentalgram February 2002 Strategic Planning update The Strategic Planning update column is a new feature in Dentalgram. This is the third column in the series—last month’s column described the work Dr. William Loveless is doing to develop a training handbook for members of the Strategic Planning Committee which they can use to explain the process of strategic planning to departments and sections of the School. This month’s update: The Office of Strategic Planning is in the process of organizing information/training sessions presented by members of the Strategic Planning Committee. Meetings will focus on the results of the Applied Strategic Planning of the past, positive changes within the School for the future, and tools each department or section can use to achieve their own goals. Meetings with each department, academic, and clinical area are scheduled to begin at the end of February. Two locations have been selected for updating faculty, staff, and students of the ongoing process of strategic planning within the School; the Founder’s Room (central location for information) and a general information area located on the first floor.
