twins are Loma Linda veterans
Identical twins Daniela
(Dani) Renee and Helena (Laini) Teresa Baum were born on Veterans'
Day, November 11, 1999, at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Their
Loma Linda heritage is as follows: paternal grandparents, Lloyd
Baum, DMD, emeritus professor of restorative dentistry and School
of Dentistry co-founder, and Alma Baum; father, Brad Baum, SM'82;
and mother, Carla Lidner Baum, SD'90, MS, assistant professor
of educational services and director of the oral oncology service
at the School of Dentistry. |

Destined for a perfect smile
Congratulations to orthodontic graduate student Marc Dunn,
SD'98, and his wife Charmain Janke Dunn, DH'92, on the birth
of their daughter Britteny Lauryne Dunn on December 22 at 1:52 am.
She weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and measured 19 inches long. Congratulations
also to the proud new grandfather, James R. Dunn, SD'69, associate
professor of restorative dentistry. |
LLU's first great-grandfather of
the millennium?
The Crawford dental dynasty carries on. At 12:01 a.m. on January 1,
2000, Fran and James Crawford (SD'60, MPH) received the gift
of a great grandson, born to granddaughter, Heather Wilson
(RDH'97) and Ron Wilson (SD'99). The baby is named James Christian
Wilson, and weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz. In the photo, he is shown with mom
Heather. |
