Farewell message from Dee Scheuerman, department of restorative dentistry Dear School of Dentistry Family: The leaving is bittersweet after 15 years as I begin a new career as a teacher. Many thoughts swirl through my mind about my years here. I am thankful that God chose to bring me here. I feel truly blessed to have worked in such a wonderful place. I have many memories that I will take with me: Þ the walk from my car when the roses are in bloom Þ the church bells at noon and Christmastime Þ the lighting of the Christmas tree Þ chocolate prune cake Þ chapel Þ the day I walked to work with flowers from home and a man said: þGod has blessed you.ú Þ All the people I have been blessed to laugh, pray and share life with: faculty, staff and students. I hope that as I begin a new year and career that you will on occasion remember me and offer a prayer, as I will remember you in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for all the wonderful memories I will carry with me forever. Sincerely, Dee Scheuerman Department of Restorative Dentistry University |
