Advanced education program in endodontics
welcomes first-year residents
The endodontic department welcomes four new residents.
Their two-year program begins July 1.

Salvia Javidad-Nejad, DDS
Dr. Salvia Javidad-Nejad attended the University of Tehran Dental
School from 1989 to 1994 and continued her education in the United
States where she received her DDS degree from Northwestern University
Dental School in 1998. Prior to entering the endodontic program,
Dr. Javidad-Nejad practiced general dentistry at the Roseville Center,
in Roseville, Michigan. |

R. Cary Mead, DDS
Dr. R. Cary Mead received his BS degree from University of Wyoming
(1995) and his DDS degree from University of Nebraska, Lincoln College
of Dentistry in 1999. Prior to entering the endodontic program Dr.
Mead practiced general dentistry at Campos Family Dental in San
Antonio, Texas. He is married and has one child. |

Miguel E. Mego, DDS
Dr. Miguel E. Mego earned his DDS degree from the Federico Villarreal
National University, Lima, Peru (1991). Following his graduation
and two years of practicing general dentistry Dr. Mego came to the
United States and shortly there after entered the International
Dentist Program at LLUSD and completed the program in 2001. Dr.
Mego and his wife, Mayra, reside in Grand Terrace.

Brandon L. Nash, DDS
Dr. Brandon L. Nash received his BS degree from Pacific Union College
(1995) and his DDS degree from the School of Dentistry in 1999.
Prior to entering the endodontic program, Dr. Nash practiced general
dentistry at Fort Irwin Army Dental Activity. He is married to Betsey. |
