Richard Grabowsky joins pediatric dentistry faculty

Richard Grabowsky, DDS |
Dr. Richard Grabowsky has joined the faculty as an assistant professor in the department of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Grabowsky earned his DDS degree from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1975, and received a certificate in pediatric dentistry from UCLA in 1977. He pursued graduate study in oral biology in the UCLA oral biology department.
Dr. Grabowsky is looking forward to mentoring students and sharing skills gained during many years in private practice. He is also interested in participating in outreach activities to help improve dental health in the community. He is married to Peggy, a medical transcriptionist and they have two daughters: Erin, who received a BS degree in nutrition last year from Bastyr University (BU) in Seattle, and now is administrative coordinator of undergraduate education and academic affairs for BU; and Marci, a teacher who taught in a Christian school in Thousand Oaks, California, before beginning home-schooling with a Christian curriculum.
In his spare time Dr. Grabowsky is on a pit crew for a Hummer race team (the only team sanctioned by AM General). He also enjoys camping.
