Energy conservation guidelines for School of Dentistry Following are guidelines reprinted from a recent memo to School of Dentistry faculty, staff, and students: • Please turn off all unneeded printers, computers, fax machines, scanners, etc. evenings and during the weekend. • Hallways can still be safe with only half the lights turned on. • If you see empty classrooms with lights left on, please be a good citizen and turn off those lights. • In your individual offices, please set your thermostats at 78 degrees or higher. • In your individual offices where large outside windows give ample light, try to avoid turning on additional ceiling lights.
