Pediatric dentisry department celebrates landmarks Faculty, students, and staff are enjoying their work in the new Hutto-Patterson Pediatric Clinic, which began serving patients in February, 2001. The clinic is on the east side of the dental school, and is equipped with 14 operatories. The state-of-the-art clinic has enhanced the professional atmosphere of the department; and has resulted in a positive attitude from both staff and patients. Young patients come from near and far to receive treatment at the clinic; the closest are inpatients in the Children’s Hospital while some patients travel from as far away as Mammoth Lakes. Their insurance ranges from Medi-Cal to Risk Management. The faculty and staff of Hutto-Patterson Pediatric Clinic are blessed to be associated with the departments in the dental school who provide consultations and treatment to the clinic’s patients. The department gives best wishes and thanks to Drs. Jennifer Barry; Eddie Chang, and Jennifer Hoffer as they complete their residency program this year, and eagerly awaits the arrival of three new residents: Drs. Sheila Harris, Cecilia Kao, and Peter Lubisich IV.
