Program alumni
contributes to 'Clinic Facelift' fun

| Pictured in the International Dentist Program clinic are, from left, Dr. Alex Chan, part-time faculty; Dr. Lloyd Baum; Bruce Pence, SD’65, associate professor; Dr. Ching Roo (Tony) Chi, IDP’91; and Mingway Lee, SD’86I, professor. Dr. Chi, who practices dentistry in Riverside, donated $8,500 to the IDP Facelift Fund. The School provided matching funds which made it possible to for the department to purchase a new patient chair and unit (including lights and handpiece), an operator’s chair, and a dental assistant’s chair. Dr. Chi was invited to the School on Thursday, May 30, to see the new equipment. A plaque reading “Renovation of this operatory was made possible by a gift from Ching Roo Chi, DDS, 2002,” was placed in the operatory. |
